This project is a 1970s inspired interactive web experience designed for vinyl enthusiasts and Billboard readers. The design blends both nostalgic, saturated color palettes with modern typography, AM Marche and Kiwi Maru, the design creates a visual bridge between analog history and digital storytelling. Developed in Figma, the project prioritizes interaction clarity, using dynamic hover states and clickable data visualizations to guide the user intuitively through the narrative. Ultimately, it taught me how thoughtful aesthetic choices and intentional visual cues can direct user behavior and transform static information into an engaging, tactile experience.
This project is social media carousel that highlights the vinyl revival as a solution for fans frustrated by low streaming payouts. Using a 1970s-inspired visual language, featuring radiating sun imagery and warm, nostalgic tones, the design connects the "rising" popularity of physical media with direct financial support for artists.
The layout focuses on visual consistency, using the record and sun motifs as central anchors across every slide to create a cohesive narrative. By applying the Gestalt principle of similarity, the project maintains a rhythmic aesthetic that feels both retro and modern, creating visually-guided experience for music fans.
